Teaching Philosophy

When it comes to learning, everybody is different - we all have unique methods of learning and understanding the information we are taught. When we take the time to understand that everyone is different then we can adapt our education to those needs. That is why when I become an educator, I will make it my soul responsibility to help accommodate all students needs when it comes to learning however they prefer. With that being said that doesn't mean I will teach each child individually to how they want but I will ask as a whole class, what ways of learning are they most interested in. Teaching is my passion so I will do the job to the absolute best of my ability.

One thing I was personally inspired by was something my first year English professor said:

"As an educator I will always take the time to ask what my students enjoyed about my teaching methods, what part of my teaching can use some additional changes and what could I do to make my teaching even better."

With that one sentence, that professor truly inspired me about having a teaching philosophy and what it means to be an educator. There have been so many people in my life that I have had personal experience with that have inspired me along my career journey.
