Some of the teaching techniques that I will be using in my classrooms include:
- Extreme Visualization: When a child is learning it is key to bring out lessons in a very bold way, something that will catch the eyes. Being bold with the colours of the slides, changing the fonts, creating innovative slides to get them involved.
- Cooperative Understanding: Teaching my future students that when the time comes it is okay to work in groups and get assignments done together. This will not only promote their interest but it will teach them the true meaning behind the phrase "sharing is caring" as well as ensure they get the opportunity to blossom as collective groups.
- Technology introduction: Mobile devices, such as iPads can be used in the classroom for students to take photos/videos or simply as a behaviour management technique. Plus, incorporating educational programs such as Kahoot into your lesson plans is also a great way to make formative assessments fun and engaging.
There are many different techniques that can be used to enhance the classroom learning environment but those are just a few examples.
